AZPROMO´s activities are supervised by two governing structures: Board of Trustees and Supervisory Board. Board of Trustees The Board of Trustees is the supreme managing structure of AZPROMO. The main functions of the Board include: the setting-up of general directions of AZPROMO’s activities, approval of its annual plan of operation, election of the Director of AZPROMO, and endorsement of regular reports on AZPROMO activities, among others. At the same time, by bringing together about 90 Government representatives, private enterprises and business associations, the Board of Trustees has developed into one of the most important platforms on which economic policies concerning Azerbaijan’s economic development are being discussed. The Chairman of AZPROMO’s Board of Trustees is Mr. Shahin Mustafayev, Minister of Economic Development. Supervisory Board The day-to-day activities of AZPROMO are overseen by the Supervisory Board, which controls AZPROMO´s financial matters, approves the annual financial audit, and endorses financial reports and any changes to the organizational structure. In 2006 the Chairman of AZPROMO’s Supervisory Board was Mr. Chingiz Asadullayev, Azerbaijani Parliament Deputy. |
