Government of the Republic of Moldova, the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC) - World Bank Group are jointly organizing International Investment Forum 2013 "Invest in Moldova" in Chisinau, Moldova on March 5-6, 2013. The main purposes of this event are to increase investment flows in the Republic of Moldova by drawing attention of foreign investors to the Republic of Moldova as favorable investment destination, to facilitate dialogue between foreign investors and local companies, to identify and promote future investment projects and to focus investors' attention on specific sectors of national economy.

The event program is focused on plenary sessions and panel discussions on the following topics: Moldovan investment climate characteristics, privatization and public-private partnerships, Moldovan investment projects, investment opportunities in Moldovan agribusiness sector, investments in Moldovan energy efficiency field, etc. Likewise, several visits are planned to be organized at Moldovan free economic zones, industrial parks, Moldovan companies that are interested to attract investments in special projects implementation, Moldovan enterprises that are announced for privatization, etc.

The "Invest in Moldova" Forum will gather representatives from the public central administration of the Republic of Moldova, local authorities, local and foreign business associations, foreign investors, investment funds, international organizations, investment promotion agencies, foreign Diplomatic Missions accredited to the Republic of Moldova, local companies and holders of investment projects, international experts, foreign and local media, etc.
